Companion's Bond is a Beast Master Ranger passive feature that enhances your companion.

How to learn
Notes
- If a companion is already active when the Ranger levels up to level 5, it receives this feature's upgrades and appearance change immediately. The Ranger does not need to re-summon it.
- Companions also receive an equivalent bonus to their attack rolls at the same time they receive this passive. This attack roll bonus is gained from proficiency bonuses the companion receives at level 5, rather than from this passive.
Bugs
- The in-game description says that the bonus scales with "your" (i.e. the Beast Master's) proficiency bonus, but in fact it uses the companion's proficiency bonus. This means the bonus will not increase to +4 until the final level 11 upgrade to your animal companion rather than at character level 9.
