Amanita Szarr, later known as Lady Incognita, was a prolific author on vampiric matters.

According to these notes, Amanita Szarr was invited to Cazador's Palace at thirteen, where she was invited into the ballroom for the first time.[1] She was later transformed into a Vampire, but refused to participate in what she called 'the family rites'. In punishment she was imprisoned in the attic.[2] Amanita rejected the name of Amanita Szarr after her damnation. She renamed herself Lady Incognita, and elected to remain in the attic.[3]
