Bind Pact Weapon is a class action available to Warlocks that choose Pact of the Blade at level 3. This is for binding to existing weapons - if you want to summon a new weapon use .
Description
Bind to your main hand weapon. Its damage becomes magical, you cannot drop or throw it, and you become Proficient with it if you weren't already.
You can only have 1 pact weapon at any time.
The weapon returns to its previous state if you are more than 1.5 m / 5 ft away from it for more than 10 rounds.

Condition: Pact Weapon
- The warlock bound to this weapon is always Proficient with it. The weapon's damage is magical.
- The weapon uses the caster's Charisma modifier for Attack rolls and damage rolls.
- Prevents the weapon from being dropped or otherwise disarmed.
How to learn
Classes:
- Class level 3: Warlock
Notes
- As of Patch #6, appropriately prevents disarming and persists through long rests and character respec.
- Though not explicitly stated in the in-game tooltip, a Pact Weapon will use your character's Spellcasting Ability Modifier instead of its Strength or Dexterity Modifier.
