Defence is a Fighting Style passive feature.
Description
You gain a +1 bonus to Armour Class while wearing Armour.
How to learn
Notes
- This effect is active while wearing anything marked as Light, Medium, or Heavy armor in any equipment slot.
- This Fighting Style is generally weaker than the other, more specialized Fighting Styles such as Dueling or Archery.
- It is, however, highly useful for Champion Fighters who get to choose a secondary Fighting Style.
- Since the benefit of Great Weapon Fighting becomes less effective when paired with Savage Attacker and/or Brace a warrior using two-handed weapons may instead want to take Defence.
