Pact of the Blade is a Pact Boon granted by the Warlock Warlock class. It allows a Warlock to specialise in melee combat by using a special Pact Weapon, granting two actions for this purpose.

Description

You can Summon Summon a pact weapon, or Bind Bind the one you are wielding as one, making it magical.

Pact weapons use the wielder's Charisma modifier instead of Strength or Dexterity.

Note that the wielder's Charisma modifier is used for attack and damage rolls with the pact weapon even if it is lower than their Strength modifier or Dexterity modifier.
