Unarmoured Defence is a Barbarian passive feature that adds your Constitution modifier to your Armour Class in addition to your Dexterity modifier when not wearing armour.
Description
Your body is as resilient as any armour. While not wearing armour, you add your Constitution Modifier to your Armour Class. Wearing Heavy Armour impedes your Rage.
How to learn
Classes:
- Class level 1: Barbarian
Notes
- The normal base Armour Class is
10 + Dexterity modifier
, while this changes it to10 + Dexterity modifier + Constitution modifier
.- You will still get bonuses from other sources that don't change your base armour class like +1 AC robes, Bracers of Defence, , etc.
- Helmets and Gloves marked as , or count as armour, and will prevent Mage Armour from working.
- This works while wearing a Monk counterpart. , unlike its
- , , , and all change your base armour class and therefore does not stack.
- If you have multiple of these you will only get the benefit of the one that gives the most Armour Class.
- Unarmoured Defence can work while in
