Danis is an NPC in Baldur's Gate 3. He is found at the Druid Grove discussing their future life in Baldur's Gate with his wife, Bex. He was employed by his father-in-law as a caravan before he quit on his third day.

Act One

If he is alive after the player returns victorious from the fight at the Goblin Camp, he will be found celebrating with Bex at the player's camp, though in a less drunk state than her.

Act Two

If Danis survived the events of Act One, the player learns from Bex at the Last Light Inn that Danis was captured along with the majority of the refugees. He can be rescued from the dungeons at Moonrise Towers Prison.

If he was not freed from Moonrise Towers before the player deals with the Nightsong, his corpse can be found in the Oubliette, together with the corpses of all the other prisoners.

Act Three

If rescued in Act Two, Danis can be found with the other refugees in Rivington near the Requisitioned Barn. He and Bex thank the player for all their help.
