As of the current patch (whatever we're on on March 1st, 2024), this power will even trigger if you try to use a spell in conversation to buff your rolls. Like if you want to take the Intimidation check to make Ethel give you power AND free Mayrina, for example. Interrupts the conversation and everything, very annoying as I'm sure you can imagine.
