*The spider's {{SAI|Urticating Hairs}} ability behaves unusually. It is a ranged attack that uses [[Dexterity]] to modify its damage, but uses [[Strength]] for its [[Attack roll]]. Additionally, unlike other sources of {{Cond|Blinded}}, an entity affected by its blinding effect will reroll their saving throw at the start of their turn, with a successful roll curing their condition.
*Despite their names and outward appearances, both the Smaller and Larger Giant Spiders weigh exactly the same.
